Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SolsBot (the "Service"), including the SolsBot Discord bot, the web dashboard at https://bot.solslfy.dev, and any related features. By inviting the bot to a Discord server, logging into the dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Discord's own rules
The Service operates on top of Discord and requires a Discord account in good standing. You must be old enough to use Discord under Discord's own Terms of Service, and your use of the Service must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. SolsBot is an independent, third-party bot and is not created by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Discord Inc.
3. Who can configure the Service
Only users the Service verifies with Discord as having the "Manage Server" permission on a given Discord server (rechecked with Discord every few minutes at most, never assumed from an old login), and members with a role the server owner has given dashboard access, may view or change that server's configuration on the dashboard. Only the server owner can make or restore a server backup or choose which roles get dashboard access. If you invite the bot to a server, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to grant it the permissions it requests.
The operator of SolsBot can open any server's dashboard the bot is in, to give support, fix problems and enforce these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law, or Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person or community;
- Resell, sublicense, or represent the Service as your own without permission;
- Get around the limits the Service sets, such as the weekly AI allowance or Server List bump cooldowns;
- List a server on the SolsBot Server List with a misleading, sexual, hateful or illegal name, description, tags or images.
We may feature, hide or remove any Server List listing at any time.
5. Availability and changes to the Service
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the bot will be online continuously, that automatic features (such as auto-slowmode) will always apply changes instantly, or that the dashboard will always reflect the very latest state of your server without delay. We may add, change, or remove features, including entire modules, at any time.
AI features (AI Chat, the AI Assistant and Question of the Day) write their answers automatically and can be wrong, so check anything important. Each server shares a limited weekly AI allowance. Server backups may not capture everything (for example, only recent messages are saved), and restoring one changes your server to match the backup, so it can't be undone.
6. Your content and settings
You retain all rights to your Discord server and its content. You are responsible for the configuration you apply through the dashboard or slash commands, including which permissions are required for which commands and which channels are placed under automatic management. See our Privacy Policy for what the Service stores about your server and its members.
When you sign in with Discord, you also give the Service permission to add you to Discord servers on your behalf. It is only ever used to add you to the SolsBot support server, and only when you choose to join it (the “Join the support server” buttons). You can remove this permission at any time from Discord's Authorized Apps settings.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and/or revoking its Discord OAuth authorization. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for a specific server or account, if we reasonably believe these Terms, Discord's Terms of Service, or applicable law has been violated. This can be for a set time or permanently, and can include blocking the dashboard, commands, the Server List or the whole Service, and having the bot leave servers you own.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolsBot and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or server activity, arising from your use of the Service. In any case, the total liability of SolsBot and its operator for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability to be excluded or limited, so some of these limits may not apply to you; in that case they apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of the place where you live.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our support server on Discord.
